Southern Exposure was founded by Scott Blank, with the goal of building quality docks and providing superior craftsmanship.
I started with the united states navy in 1985, the year I graduated high school. I was trained as a certified welder. Spent the next 4 years doing repairs on a variety of vessels. after the Navy I moved to Florida, to work and live in My favorite place. A year welding and designing grab rails and poling platforms at Action Craft Boats, I decided to attack my culinary bug, learning a lot about bar-b-q. In 1995 I went to work for a boat lift Manufacturer. I was responsible for the design, layout, welding, and assembly. While working there I started my first business PMS Boat Lift repair doing maintenance and repair of boat lifts. After I attained my Marine construction license in 2003 I started Southern Exposure Marine Construction. I’ve been taking care of customers to the best of my ability for years, and look forward to taking care of you in years to come.
